It was ugly when he brought it over...had been in an attic, apart, and uncared for for many years...couple of decades actually. The only real casualty was the bass side of the highest fret...it's lifting a bit...just don't play the A or low E above 19th fret, and all is well. The pickup is monsterous...reminds me of an old dirty fingers in another friend's 1984 V. Good stuff.
The owner uses it for drop D(with us C sharp actually).
The neck is not my cup o tea, but goes well with his Ibanez. It's wicked nice.

PERHAPS.......does it need a new home?
Nope. He loves it. After I set it up, he was blown away. Said it never played like it does now.
So now I have to learn to reseat a fret...he's not bothered by it yet, but it probably will become an issue eventually.

Oh yeah, that's one reason I need to find a white T-60.
The other is my bass player (his brother) has a 5 string, white Peavey Dyna-Bass.

Its a Peavey---- just loosen and move the strings back....find the offending fret and WHACK it with a hammer---- tune and play---- its what I do------
