I successfully brokered the sale of her 1958 Gibson Les Paul 3 years ago.
The Silverburst hasn't sold yet. She's had a few offers, but funding has proven to be a problem for some prospective buyers.
Also up for grabs is a Gibson Banjo, a 1970's Alvarez Acoustic and a War-Era Gibson Acoustic.

We finally found a buyer for the 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom Silverburst. It took finding the right buyer, not only one that Mom liked, but also one that had available funds.
Selling price was $9,500.00

I been moving a lot of Mom's vintsge gear, including a pre-war Gibson acoustic, a Gibson banjo, 1973 Alvarez 12 string and a bunch of other, less collectible instruments.

They (the original run Silverburst Customs) go for significantly more than any other color. White is the next most desireable and those are usually $2k/$2.5k less than the Silverbursts. I see listings for sunburst '79s for $4.5k - $5.5k all day long.
