I've been toying with the idea of a stand for my Vox AC15C1 amp for some time. In the practice studio I've taken to leaning it against a wall to get some tilt and live it's usually been perched on a milk crate. In the studio it's been fine but the milk crate means that my knees get to hear the best sound rather than my ankles when the amp is on the floor.
After a fair bit of looking around I went with this one. I like it because it gives a good angle, the amp is not too high off the floor and it can sit centred on the stand and I can still plug in the power cable and the foot-switch cable. A Number of the stands I tried obscured one or the other or you had to sit it too far in one direction to plug in the power!
So here is my latest purchase - the On-Stage RS6000 Foldable Tiltback Amp Stand. The downside for some will be that the height and angle are not adjustable. Lucky for me it is exactly what I wanted.
