I did a little more work today. I covered the grill cloth baffle.

To allow me to easily remove the baffle, I am attaching it to the speaker cabinet with machine screws and T-nuts. This pic is before I put on grill cloth and just shows one of the T-nuts.

This is a shot of the the back of the grill baffle.

I used 1/4" staples for most of the perimeter. But, in the corners where the grill cloth is folded over on itself, I switched to 5/16" staples to allow for the extra thickness of the fold.

I also laid a bead of superglue on the edges of the grill cloth around the entire perimeter after it was stapled in place to keep it from fraying. You can also see the actual cabinet, now painted black.

Here's just a quick shot of the front.

That's all for now.

I still am waiting for the 1/4" jack and a cabinet handle to come in before I can call this done.

Well, the cabinet is essentially done. I say, "essentially," because at the last minute yesterday I decided to order a handle for it, but the rest of my parts came in today, so I finished up the business ends of things.

First, here's the grill baffle installed onto the front of the enclosure:

Here's the back, with the Eminence speaker all ready to go!

Finally, although my intention is to put this into my isolation cabinet, this pic shows what it would be like with my amp. I don't think it looks half bad!

So, that's pretty much it! It was a fun little project to occupy my time during Thanksgiving break.
