I did a little more work today. I covered the grill cloth baffle.
To allow me to easily remove the baffle, I am attaching it to the speaker cabinet with machine screws and T-nuts. This pic is before I put on grill cloth and just shows one of the T-nuts.

This is a shot of the the back of the grill baffle.
I used 1/4" staples for most of the perimeter. But, in the corners where the grill cloth is folded over on itself, I switched to 5/16" staples to allow for the extra thickness of the fold.
I also laid a bead of superglue on the edges of the grill cloth around the entire perimeter after it was stapled in place to keep it from fraying. You can also see the actual cabinet, now painted black.
