are all your bases covered?

Had to go count mine, 13 combo amps, 7 heads and 6 cabinets. Everything from a Blackstar 1w to a 280w Camplifier in the Kemper. But what I just realized is I don’t own a PA, hmmm…..

You have my curiosity sparked. I know I have everything written down, but never really counted to know the number.

Combos = 7 (Ampeg, DST, Fender, Marshall, Vox, homemade)
Heads = 12 (DST, Fender, Hiwatt, Marshall, homemade)
Cabinets = 10 (DST, Fender, Hiwatt, Marshall)

Im with him

besides now days doesnt everyone just run a pedal board to front of house and move on ...................................
many do just run a board into foh.
i have only used my helix twice like that, and it just aint the same.
of course, im sure i would get more used to it if i did it all the time.
i hate in ears too.
i like using real amps and not only the way it sounds but the way it feels. using just a board and in ears feels like im jamming along to a backing track.
i like to have the real deal and feel the music going through my body to where you feel like one with the band.....like a giant pulsating heart.
im sure all of you that are either currently in or have been in a tight, well oiled band know exactly what im talking about.

I just play whatever head I'm working on.
Could be a Cornwall or a DSL or an old tweed Fender, or even (yes) a Mesa.
That way it never gets too stale and I don't get sick of just playing 1 amp.
There was a time when Plexis stacks was all there was to play. And it was so loud, that my ears would ring for 3 days afterwords.
You can't play a Plexi at less than 7, because it spoils the sound.
I can't do that anymore I will have no hearing left.
