New Tascam Audio systems.

Nope. I've still got a couple of Roland Quad-Captures.

I used to have a MOTU 2408 mk3 and a bank of Deltas, but that's a different ball game from a different time.

I'm guessing that most of the current budget priced AI's on offer perform to an acceptable standard these days?.

I‘ve got the Akai EIE Pro. Four mic or line inputs, midi in and out, four USB ports, four 1/4“ out, four inserts, lots of options. Thought it would be good for recording practice with four mics at the same time.

Now, I just need a new computer, and get this bloody mess in the cellar finished once and for all.

The UR24C also has midi in and out. Plan to use the Allen and Heath QU16 for mixing the drum's it has two USB ports.
We did our first recordings today sounds clean.

My Mackie is a bit more analog, and no USB outs. I figure that if I can get a good drum mix out of one channel, and a good live vocal take on the other channel out, I can put guitar and bass direct into the Akai unit, and have a set of good basic tracks to start with.

*Edit* I do have six monitor outs on that board, but only a stereo mix. So, I would have to be creative.
