Finally..I get it !!! ..the HBE Germania Treble booster in the JCM800 is pure magic. It pushes through & removes very precisely for that clarity on crucnh or leads. The 2205 is darker than my 2204 & this thing just removes anything that is kinda in the way, i leave the gain dimed on boost side of amp. Also, man does it stack into other pedals. A stomp & all things needed can be there. The real surprise how it bumped the normal side to edge of break up on neck pickup. Added bonus just made the 2205 cmpletely viscous on the lead side. This new board set up has so many tones & precise places to be in the mix.
