I really should stop looking at guitars!

I had a long hiatus from playing guitar between my teens and a few years ago. By the time I decided to start again my guitar (an amazing Fender Heartfield Talon IV) had been stolen and funds were limited so I searched the used market for an Epiphine Wild Kat, I really wantwd one of those. I never found one and got a Hagstrom Viking instead.

Now I thought to myself, maybe it's time for that Wild Kat... But while looking for one I came across these, the new Uptown Kat of 2020. Look at the green one! I have the same mini humbuckers in another guitar and they're great.

I'm damaged...

 
get it man , we only live once have your desires fulfilled and enjoy the things you like. i use to worry about money and i was very hesitant to buy things thinking lots of what ifs... then i said f**** it ill have it, why do work if cant have things i want. i dont take drugs i dont drink , i dont smoke , i dont go clubbing so guitar is my thing to make me happy. as long as you can pay the bills and whant be struggling from pay day to pay day then go for it. and enjoy

What everyone said. Go for it. Might you have a photo of the Viking? I picked up one of those a few years ago. Yes. Mine is made in China. But it does have the Hagstrom name on the headstock. I’m part Swede, so it’s good enough for me.

I sold the Viking years ago, I found the body too large for sitting confortably with. Amazing guitars otherwise and exceptional value for money. I've been around a few of the original Swedush Hagstroms and my opinionnis that the new ones are better. Perhaps not better built but less quirky.

Mine looked just like yours but was black.

Look at GAK in the UK instead. They're like 5600 SEK and 179 shipping. The ad is up at Reverb. A few hundred cheaper than Thomann.

gak is in my town , i love that shop, when i want something i buy from them, and if i walk in the shop i usually tell myself dont look dont look just get what you want and leave :)) in sales they are good but at repair well lets not talk about it :)
