DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your in for an EAR-GASM
I run all my small amps through a peavey Sheffield 12" ---
even this lowly SOLID STATE orange crush 12 --- sounds stupid huge --(and very wicked) --- in a small space running thru a 12
I think the best sounding low wattage amp I ever owned was an old Guyatone 6bm8 push pull amp with reverb, tremolo, and two odd ball 7"ish speakers. Should have kept it, but some guy with a studio up north bought it - sent me a clip of it being used in a song - man, did that thing sound great recorded.
I have a 1999 Marshall MG50CRD (side state) that has incredible cleans and Fender-esque reverb. I paid something like $325.00 brand new for it in 2000 from American Musical Supply.
You can find them on Reverb for $50.00 now.
I consider it my 'practice amp' and its the smallest amp I have...
45.00 craigslist.
