Found the high strung amp for leads. I love this little monster

4 El84's, 2 separate channels, switchable EQ on footswitch. Plugged it in, got the SGJ out & it was southern stoner sludge instantly..turned looper on & got the next song immediately saved.

The v30 is voiced real good, its loud, clear. Can get heavy but sense the mid gain..texture edge of breakup lead box application. Can play it at semi reasonable levels. Absolutely kills on a 4x12.
Heard Tom petty sounds on clean..then dimed clean gain..nice light break up..then klon'd it..that was the sound was seeking,

Gain channel is super nice..neck pup leads are full & edgy if needed. was real easy to find edge of break & control with guitar knbsDC3.jpgDC3 rear.jpgDC3 fr clse.jpgDC3 tubes.jpg

Finally got some time with the DC3. Very aggressive amp. The 2 mesa's that i have with the EQ are amazing. The way you can very precisely place the amp in its mix slot is such a weapon. Have used EQ pedals in my amps before but they never were anywhere close to being able to tweak an amp like this.

Mesa interactive controls are making dialing in so easy. Very impressed.Trading my pro reverb for another one on sat. Then the studio is pretty set. .didn't see this last amp run coming but it sure did make it easy in the future for tone seeking.
