Westone Bass

In another thread about boiling strings I mentioned a Westone bass I picked up. I finally got it spit shined a bit. Put a new Gotoh bridge on it, new brass nut, and the horn where the strap lock was had two holes where screws were and a big ole lag screw snapped off - so, had to plug and fix that up. I'm still planning on putting brass saddles on it to contrast the brass knobs and nut.











It plays pretty nice. I have it setup to Fender specs. Still haven't played it thru and amp, but I do have a drum amp I'll be plugging it into here sooner or later.

You are ramping up my GAS. I spent the day looking for decent P bass on the cheap. I loaned my bass to my granddaughter and I don’t think I’m getting it back.

We'll on the bright side if the granddaughter is getting into playing bass that is totally cool, know what I mean.

I dont recall loaning any of my kids..........or grandkids anything that I ever expected back lol
