Killer !! approx 15 watts hammering a single 6l6. Finally getting the 6l6 thing been searching for.The tube stays tight for a fair amt just like a fender then breaks real gradual in this amp if need be or can be set to go strait off the cliff .
.being a Guitar knob freak..its heaven..how many degrees of break..all kinds..tele can pick the spot like a scalpel..the LP's drive it quicker & super raspy . Also with mid knob the amp can sway away from 6l6 scoop. It also does do the Chicago old school blues sound & really reveals the character of a guitar at low gain volume but very full & woody sounding. Then a boost button can really add fullness r pop chords or lead. Then a very usable gain stage is available..that can be boosted .
Takes pedals very well.mp can be set to explode or with some clean headroom to blast away with pedals. Gets loud...sounds full at low level also. Full loop for pedals.
Would make the ultimate grab & carry for small gigs..don't need pedals with all the ways the amp responds.
This & the Black Magick are heaven to play..you just play...there is nothing to add but your guitar & ideas...you have such dynamics at your finger tips. Supro spec'd speakers are very full. The amps no doubt give off harmonics i don't hear in most amps ..almost thinking, my gain is coming down but my cut & guitar parts are really alive on last few songs. Almost less is more thingy.
