I'm using a Vintage Modified Strat for my starter. I will add all the Black parts and end up with the finished Blackout! I'm still waiting for the pickguard.
I may leave the pickups uncovered since they are Black already...

The bonus is the Squier neck. I have another Squier Classic Vibe loaded body in a nice Sherwood Green that will receive the old neck off my VM Strat!

So...when I'm done I'll have two for the price of...well maybe two?

The sticker removal left some residue and I'm not sure I can bring myself to remove the GOT MILF sticker...

In honor of the first named Black Hole I dub my Blackout Strat Pōwehi or just M87 for short...

In collaboration with astronomers, a Hawaiian language professor has now given M87* a more poetic name.
It's 'Pōwehi', and it means "embellished dark source of unending creation", which sounds... pretty spot on.

I had a Hawaiian friend who called me Lopaka Pakalolo

I love the smell always have, my wife on the other hand hates it
all it’s ever done for me is relax me, but I won’t do it during the day, only at night before I hit the hay, or I can sit and toss and turn till it’s time to get up!!
