I thought I had this little issue fixed for the time being, my super strat is working great and has the exact sound I want from a super strat. I have a fantastic V that sounds absolutely killer and can get freaking evil with its growl.

Then I saw this

And my mind went “you know, I’m going to need an axe to drop down to drop C when I want to get down to bone shattering heavy on some songs.”

TTR, my screen name is Metal89, and I have a problem....

Love the text...
"This Type E1.6FR six-string metal weapon...

I dig it.
Looks like an Explorer that someone sharpened up the points on to inflict greater carnage.

I've seen reviews of Solar guitars and they sound MEAN, definitely made for metal. the absolute worst thing i ever heard about them is that some of the holes that were made for the hardware is a bit rough.. that's about it, very minor thing you'd have to look REAL close to notice and that was their 699 guitar. Hell, I can live with that just fine.

That road usually leads to a 7 stringer also for some reason...GAS fueling the dreams of gear heads !!

You know... I never put much thought into a 7 string..... I wonder.....

Just order it, you know you going to do that anyway :)

Honestly if I had the money in my account right now... I would because you are right.... HOWEVER, currently dealing with an apartment complex majorly screwing me over, 7 months AFTER I moved out. Took out a loan before that to improve my credit score as well. However, I explained the situation to my employer, they are slapping 12 more hours onto my week til the end of august. and that will be like zapping my bank account with a defribulator, giving it a shot with an epi-pen, then watching it chug an energy drink. so I'll be better off in the long run, i could buy one of those 800$ solars and have more than enough set back in the account. so.... long story short... don't have a choice but to wait...., until then, i drool

Sorry

Don't apologize, I joke about my misfortune all the time, and in all honesty, in the long run, it's not even a misfortune. Next few weeks are going to be rough but after that i'm going to be much better off financially. MUCH, which is why im even considering another $1,000 guitar. Hell, if I can sell my pelham blue epi SG, that would really set me up for that 7 string with evertune bridge!
