I live with a wife who will do very strange things :-O
Just now I've returned from local shop having completed HER deal, as new Epi Casino traded for a new Epi Casino.
The difference in her eyes = beauty, she preferred the burst over her blond finish. The fact that a rosewood fingerboard went out and a pau ferro came in means nothing, dollars out in the exchange means nothing.
For me, happy wife means happy life :-(

I love that blond / natural. i bought a used Dot like that but it had issues and had to go back, sadly.

I am lucky, she actually plays while I'm a student. Back in 1969 when she and I teamed up she could knock out any tune after hearing it. I on the other hand battle with each small step, the product of starting very late in life :-(

I offered her my Gary Clark Jnr Casino, it has US made Gibson pickups and upgraded everything else but no it had to be the burst, go figure that.

The shop sold our blond trade in the same morning it was handed over, that's good, we were happy with the deal and the shop obviously made some money on both guitars.
As far as sending a Strat and now your rejection of such, why didn't you tell me earlier, now I have to un-box it and try to get a refund on the stamps from the Post Office :-(

Funny... I was just thinking of asking the very same question. Maybe Florida can repurpose this phenomenon as a tourist attraction. Or, make some art out of it?

I never saw a Casino I didn't fall in love with. A very weird love that I can talk about. I like the natural finish. I hit it on a 339 body type. They have a special air about them and it adjusts our playing.
 
There suppose to be a big tar pit near LA! I was going to ask if that tar is better for rust proofing or a house/barn roof ? I will have my car with me but I'm not up to bring a roof all the way to LA.
