So Anyway...

Octavia E. Butler -
the feature on Google home page is interesting, though I had not heard of her. Impressive succeeding in a generally a man's type of thing.

"Her novel’s protagonists are always young women of color, and she’s a pioneer in the Afrofuturism space, creating sci-fi and dystopian worlds where black characters are featured front and center. "

Reminds me of that Black Panther movie, maybe there will be a wave of Space based Blacksploitation movies: "Pam Greer is Foxy Brown in Space" or what have you, or maybe an Afrofuturistic (had to use that word, just once) remake of Barbarella. Halle Berry maybe....

R.I.P Charles Krauthammer.
A man I have immense respect for and admire for his honesty, humility, inetellect, as a decent man and caring human being, and usually the smartest guy in the room.

Charles Krauthammer, conservative commentator and Pulitzer Prize winner, dead at 68
Yup! Both, Me and the Wifey like him a lot, too. Brutal physical condition that he was living with, but never, ever, heard him complain about it. Charles Krauthammer was a real good guy...
