The Muse I Adorn

I was actually referring to someone that joined TTR, asked to be an ambassador... first day of membership. When told they needed 1,000 post to become an ambassador, they had over 500 posts in a less than two weeks.

Back on track....

Tonight I’m watching some playoff hockey....and grabbing my Martin to fill the commercials...

I need to shave the bridge down another .5 mm, but action is ok as is with fresh strings and the last shave down of the bridge that I did at the change.

Please forgive the cobweb.

Who knew!...Tiny Terror, 15watt all-tube bass amp?!?!

Yep! In to an old Tube works 1x15 w/tweeter combo-husk-cab...the old B. K. Butler head is toast, and I didn’t know what else to do with it....Oh my, it’s ratty, and beautiful! 15watts goes a long way too! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrowly!
I need a good A/B/Y to blend it with the Kustom.

Oh fudge! I really dig playing the boomstick these days!

What model of Martin is that?
The saddle looks black to me. What type is that?
It’s the same model the colonel has, XC1 Elipse, but the later Mexican version. It’s my first guitar with Richlite...fretboard, and bridge.
It has one of those laminate necks too. The neck feels kinda like my Les Paul faded mahogany neck.
It stays in tune great. The intonation is really good. It just came with plenty of meat on the saddle. I was too chicken on the math for the trim down, but action is in an acceptable place.

Yesterday I played my EBMM Y2D into my PV Classic 30.

but...

I dug out this old thing to put between them.
It's a ZOOM 505 II in a metal box with step
on switches ($20.00 more than the plastic one).
(I have a purple one too, worker and backup.)
10 banks, 4 presets per bank and a good tuner.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good it sounded.
Then I said, "Why are you surprised? You played
every big R & B club in Manhattan with a 505 II."
Bang for the buck? Lots of that in this thing.
