So Anyway...

So, anyway with a little luck I will be closing out my mom's estate this week; a great burden to be lifted.
My brother has made this whole past year exponentially more difficult than it had to be.
I'll wash my hands of it very soon.

My wife says I never stopped to really grieve past the initial emotional punch in the gut when mom passed.
I didn't know what she meant then.

As I have been able to throttle back on my focus it has allowed me to feel - or recognize how I really feel inside.
I am more sad for her loss now after going through the holiday season.
I miss my mom.

Its a good day for the blues.

I have been going through dealing with losses of loved ones too. I'm still cleaning up the mess from a friend that recently died and left a bunch of stuff to deal with. My heart felt sympathies for the loss of your mom and the extra crap you have to deal with.

So anyway, I’ve known of Spam (the so called food product) for many years but I tend to avoid things manufactured. Today when browsing the supermarket I finally took the plunge. A small sample on a folk revealed a salty pork flavour, not unpleasant. The visual was VERY off-putting, minced up unknown salted whatever. Decided to stop while my memory of Spam was an acceptable neutral, not good and not bad, but we did have a big win … my dog is now a Spam fan and it’s cheaper than dog food.

Yes sir...Here we go! Unprecedented 3rd Nor'easter in 10 days. I just got my power and utilities back Sunday night.

The good news, I have the day off from work, and I can jam all day. Only fitting I pick on my Snow White Ibanez JS2400!!

Power is flickering here, and just lost my WiFi...I’m gonna pour another coffee, and go ascess the cable inventory for my pedal board.

Good luck and stay safe to all in the clutches of Mother Nature in a pissy mood.
Heavy wet slop.
I hear only 2-4" by me.
I should go look outside, supposed to be ending here by now.

Yep the aches and pains know its coming.
As a youngster, I didn't believe the older folk.
I sure as hell do now: I'm one of them.

I can feel the bones that I have broken years ago every time it rains.

I hear you there, but was thinking more of the after affects of moving the two feet of snow out of my driveway.:D

I hear that!
I keep tweaking the middle back injury I got last fall moving the contents of mom's mobile home after she passed.
The 18" we got in the storm during the long cold snap the first week of the new year tweaked it yet again.

but: Always look on the bright side of life........

That's a beauty guitar BocceBall69er! That's the Joe Satriani series right? I saw the same exact guitar in the pawn shop awhile back in candy apple red and it was selling for almost $1,500!!! I bet they ain't cheap brand new. Is the Floyd Rose original or licensed?

Thanks Blackster,
Yup, the Satriani Ibanez. A guitar I wouldn't typically buy, as I don't usually buy signature models. But, back in 1989 I purchased an early '70s rickenbacker 4001 for a measly $100 from my neighbor. In over 20 years I never touched it. A few years ago I sold it on eBay for almost 2k, and along came my js2400.

Real sweet guitar. The trem is an Edge. similar to an original Floyd Rose, but features a pop-in tremolo arm and locking studs. Also has 24 frets, and push/pull pots. It's a player. The pickups sounds amazing.

My prized Rick. I Sent it packing
