To my door today.
Australian importer said they can get one for me in 2 to 3 months.
Chicago Music Exchange got this to me in 8 days, all up including shipping and taxes $500 cheaper than the best price I could negotiate this side of the Pacific.
Only had time to tune and start to get to know her. First up she isn't heavy (chambered), nice light action and very clean sounds coming from her sweet voice.
I know those in the US have many dealers to work with but this is my 4th time with Chicago Music Exchange, highly recommended by Gasket.

About to sit with it for 30 min but as I see it so far ...
First photo as reference, top switch = typical 3 way pickup selector.
Just under is another 3 way switch, middle position, clean allow pickups to be natural. Up and down, two different tones, I won't describe yet, too soon.
Under the Bigbsby another 3 way, middle is a kill position, I like that idea. Up and down I haven't worked out yet but opposite to kill ;-)
Two volume knobs, one for each pickup, allowing blending.
Volume knob lower right (by its self) = master volume.

Oh, it just hit me, that doesn't mean she wants me to play the new baby, she want's me to improve and save her hearing :-(

Congrats that is sweet.

I gots the Gretsch GAS on and off over the last year and came close to a deal a couple of times.
I think the closest I will get is putting a Filtertron in something I already have.
 
gasket I see you have a nice collection of axes there. Maybe when you have some time head over to Dynamic Music and check out the Godin 5th Avenue CW Kingpin ll in the colour of Burgundy. Or the 5th Avenue Uptown GT Solid Black.

I had a pre-planned Friday evening out with the boys last night so didn't get a chance to play BUT now it's Saturday morning and about the turn the amp up to 11 ;-)

I did exactly as directed and got to see some sweet guitars. The pricing is still on this planet :-)
