Gold Coffee

"I can take about an hour
on the Tower of Power
as long as I gets
a little golden shower"

I dont go for all that hipster artsy crap.
Keep it simple stu-stu-stupids

Starbucks neither.

But to each his own I suppose.

A dark roast Brazilian coffee is really great for espresso.

But for a regular cup of black coffee (or Americano), these days I prefer a slightly lighter roast Ethiopian Yirga coffee. The ripe berry, caramel and nut aromas are pure bliss.

These are the blend components of my morning brew:

50% Sipacapa, Guatemala /
40% Cherbanta Natural, Ethiopia /
10% Kushikamana, Kenya

It's one of the most balanced and complex coffees I have ever had, and very low acid. I grind whole beans for each pot and use chilled, filtered water. Comes out perfect every time.
