Guitars and BEER!

So, since @Sérgio asked me to go first, here it is.

My two favorite things in life are beer and guitars. Nothing brings me joy like a good pint and a nice guitar. Thus, there is only one simple rule for this thread: Pictures must contain at least one guitar and one beer.

My trusted Derek Trucks SG and a glass of 7 Fjell Bryggeri Ulriken Double IPA:

Some of my Gibsons and a glass of 7 Fjell Kjuagutt Amber Ale:

WOW, that is a pretty picture!!!!!

All right, since I'm on a roll here. The weather is really nice and I got home from work really early (due to the fact that my alarm clock seems to have been messed with, and went off Way too early, resulting in me leaving the house at around 03.40 this morning...). So I popped a beer and played my sweet little Les Paul Junior for a bit. I have grown to love that guitar. The stripe of light colored mahogany makes it perfectly imperfect. The TysonTone 60 Wraptail sure sounds great too! Thanks again to @Bobby!

About the beer: 7 Fjell Svartediket is our black IPA. At 7 % abv it is a dry and slightly chocolaty hoppy stunner. @eSGEe, with his dark ale fetish, would surely love it. Too bad we're not exporting anything to the US yet...

Now, come on and post some pics. I'll feel like a drunk if I end up being the only one posting here!

When I completed my LP assembly, my brother sent me a Gibson beer glass for congratulations. I thought that was a very nice thing to do for his little brother. Surprising actually. But, he's a musician, and he GETS it.

Ok, so it's only Budweiser in the glass....but I like Budweiser. By the dozen usually.

Cheers big Ears !!!!!

This thread isn't fair, Gahr has a distinct advantage!

Quick trip to the local 7/11 and:

I like it more than the Original K1664.

This is a great picture, the guitar grain and gloss looks fantastic:

Ahem, dude, where's the guitar in you picture? Inside the bag?:D

Thanks for praising the pic. My photographic skills are damn near non-existent, so I got really lucky with that one.

I absolutely love IPA's. Got hooked on them about 5 years ago. Lots of microbreweries in California that produce exceptional IPA's. One of my favorite of the IPA's was a black rye IPA made by Firestone Walker Brewing called the Wookie Jack. Sadly, it was discontinued about 6 months ago...

Loved that Wookie Jack. Gonna miss it.
My everyday beer is Bear Republic Racer 5, but on the weekends I tend to search out new things.
