What we call “California freezing.” Little sunshine… the overcast and the fog don’t dissipate until 3, and then it’s low in the sky and two hours from darkness. Next Thursday, they’re predicting the beginning of nine straight days of rain. It’s winter now, fer sure.

Honestly, I'd rather have sun and cold. Bundle up, go out as necessary. Rain and dreary is the worst for me.

Ouch, your weather pattern will eventually creep this way, less extreme but non the less a pain. I have been working on my shed but once it freezes I am done.
Yesterday , I hung a special light fixture I bought years ago. It’s sort of obsolete now.
It’s 4ft , 6 tube with polished chrome reflectors. It’s high bay, I only have about 12ft, height.

The other day they said 9.6" snow more like 24" it's been below zero for a week
we had a power outage for a day my generator ran my heating system some people used space heaters and 3 houses burned down.

That’s my wife. She’s grown to hate the winter months in Illinois, where I’m more like @Session 5 and for the most part enjoy it all. Even though by end of winter, I am ready for the next season.

Not as cold now but huge blizzard coming tomorrow. Could be up to a foot of snow, strong winds, zero visibility at times, don't drive anywhere. Then it gets cold AF. Nice to be retired and not dig out to go to work.

Got warm today in NE Illinois. Coupled with rain rather than snow…. Snow has pretty much all melted and has been replaced with soupy mud.

Its warm here last 2 days 44 today, rain tomorrow, then taking a dive into the cold zone.
