Got home from Europe today. This was the first song to come out of my car‘s cd player. There’s a compilation disc with great ‚60s garage and psych in the player. The earworm has been strong ever since.

I can't say this is my "song of the day", but this is a frequent "go to" song for me. I prefer the live, Woodstock version.

B rings back a lot of memories . I was 15 at that time. I had my very first electric guitar, a harmony i took a few lessons, then for some unknown reason, just gave guitar up for many years, until i took it back up , much later in life. had other things on my mind i guess.

Many of these songs bring back memories, its good to reflect back.

We lost Greg Lake on this day in 2016. Have been an ELP fan boy since buying my first album of theirs. The three record live set.... "Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends." Came out in 1974 and pretty sure I purchased as a fairly new release.

Those are the dulcet tones of Mr. James Calvin “Jimmy” Wilsey, “the King of Slow.” His album El Dorado is a treasure chest of guitar tones dripping with his special tonal sauce. Chris Neel knew him well, and says that amazing depth is achieved with delays.
