Speaking of crazy NOW prices. Saw this on EBAY/ YEAH RIGHT $1300 for a husk with nothing but the wood bits.I am surprised the price of Gibson V guitars now the 2006 was $150.00 with case back in 2008 the selector switch was bad
the pickups were garbage put a set of burstbuckers in it and a ABR 1 bridge on it.

Before 2020 they were cheaper. Now all of sudden they went up in couple of years.HAHA I just noticed that your last post before you replied to me was post 11,111
I sure wish the Faded V's asking prices were closer to the price of what people are getting for a Faded SG.
Realistically I am wanting a not beat to heck, good bones killer V for under $1000 and if I hit it right, $500 is even better. Apparently a tough ask where it comes to V's, as Mitch and I discussed previously.
Here is a WHITE V from 2000. The seller wants $2500 or a comparable trade value guitar. ES 335, SG with a Maestro Trem, a High End Firebird etc.
I definitely am up against it trying to talk his price down when a similar current V 70's model costs $2499 at Sweetwater.
2000 Gibson ‘67 Flying V Alpine White Ebony Fretboard w/Case
Open to trades. Looking for other Gibson guitars. Would ideally be looking for a 335 of some variation, a nice firebird V, or a good SG with the maestro arm and tailpiece Fantastic playing and sounding V with no issues at all. Nearly a 25 year old instrument. Original pickups have been swapped for a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover in the neck and a Gibson 57 Classic + in the bridge. I have the original uncovered pickups if you’d like them. Some wear for a 25 year old guitar but in all the right places. Super fast playing neck. The ebony fretboard is really nice. Just an absolutely fantastic instrument, I just don’t play it as much as I should.

I wrote that song in around 1998(give or take). I wasn’t trying to emulate anything/anyone.I'm in @ $299-$499
DON, Something kept me up till 5:20 AM after listening to your soundcloud. That song, " Victim" was rattling around in my brain for hours.
There was something familiar about the song and structure as well as the singing voice. Normally, I can recognize a singer's voice and then track down the name of the band/song etc in my brain. However, in the wee hours, I pored through as many bands in youtube to try to remember, but finally dozed off in my chair wearing my headphones. If you can shed some light on who is doing that Victim song, I will be able to rest my pea brain. HAHA
