Is this legit?

:what:

Amazon sells Pelican boats. This particular model is out of stock with no suggestion when it might be back in stock. So no price. Regardless. The ones Amazon does have available are priced at just under a grand to well over.
I remember when I bought my Orange Rocker, Amazon had one at half price, it was a scam, it would disappear and reappear under a different seller name, the seller had the same other items as previous scammer.
You know the old saying: he who goes to sleep with an itchy bum wakes up with smelly fingers.
Oops sorry not that saying, this saying:
If it’s too good to be true…

I see those in the river quite often. It super fun to have small boats that can go anywhere. I reversed the trolling motor put it up front & have a stick to go anywhere. Stand on front while drifting & look down & use stick to maneuver. Sometimes have to go against the rock then push off. Its trippy whats down there when the water is clear

This is EXACTLY how I used to set up my 10' boat.

Unfortunately, both of my outboards have been stolen and then also my Minn Kota, all one by one.

Now all I've got is my boat, and it's been sitting for so long that it's gonna need some work.

The smaller the boat, the better for this application. Small bass holes and local ponds.....but anything on the river, fishing trips get the Duckworth, pleasure cruises take the Bennington pontoon.

But for the smaller fishing holes, I really like to be small. Means I can get to places other's can't. Canoes and kayaks and even belly boats are good for this, but you have no deck to stand/sit on.

I like fishing moved to Alaska 40 years ago I sold my boat my new wife called it the shrimp and would not go on it
To be honest, it never bothered me a bit if I had to get on my boat all alone.

In fact, I think that was the whole point lol
I like my solitude.

I probably should be looking for something a little more spacious, considering that I will be having young people with rods/hooks swinging all around lol
Still has to be quite small though, so I can gain access to all the sweet spots that nobody else knows about/can get to.

I threw it in the ditch the other day and it did float for several hours without leaking, so that's a start...

But the floor/deck has all rotted and broken.

The floor is in bad shape...

I cut some plywood to lay down over the big crack, not a permanent fix by any means.

This thing is older than I am. I used to be a whole lot more brave (read: foolish) than I am today.
