Classic Gear: Silvertone 1482
Silvertone’s mid-’60s tube combo is crude, rude, and full of attitude.www.guitarplayer.com

Not bad for $25.00
I just like the amp tone and it seems to fit.I've never owned an amp or guitar that didn't sound good for the blues. For me blues is about feeling not tone.
THE ANSWER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! nuthin left to sayI've never owned an amp or guitar that didn't sound good for the blues. For me blues is about feeling not tone.
Heck yeah man.. watched Howlin Wolf all last night...Stones had Him play that one TV show first & they sat & watched,,thats the blues....You don't even need an amp.

You're not the only one who thinks Silvertone amps are good for blues. This is from the liner note on Hooker and Heat, a great blues album.I can not relly relate as well as most of post here have.
I am not a real blues player , I do like blues. I am just no expert.
The right amp for me is the one that sounds good to my ears. No matter how bad my hearing is. I guess what I played at the time I made the first post was what I liked. If I could change the Tittle I would.
Maybe something like:
Try This Silvertone 1884 and see if you like it as well as I do.
Beyond this.
I was notsuggesting to go out and buy one but if you have a modeling amp you can try it.
