I know, it happens just like that . Was pretty wild to watch them identify, then drill then find it. Those sensor boxes are pretty cool. That one they dropped down was able to sense direction. Took them 3 drills over 30' span from middle of road to my house.
Glad they found things so fast. Don’t need anything going BOOM!!!

An online search for "Grannies Grandes" will provide a youtube which will give an idea of the mentality that is responsible with getting the traveler on the ground in one piece while keeping a 187,000 pound cigar tube full of kerosene moving at 450mph from plowing through a neighborhood. Just don't have any youngsters in tbe room.

Tailhook may have been in the early 90s, but nothing has changed.

Searched for hours for a new guitar and I did not find one.
Maybe I have all the guitars I need? ha,ha that was a good joke but seriously Gibson has breathtaking prizes - and the Vs are nothing special these days, Fender still did not came out with a real Capri Orange big headstock and the right specs (the MiJ does not count).
I would love to have a Les Paul but they cost an arm and a leg. I need both arms.

Rented a Pole Saw from Home Depot. Took down some branches...... actually, a bunch of branches....... way above my head and out of reach of a standard chain saw. Got a pretty big pile of branches big and small in the back yard, staged and ready to be whittled down to size. 90 degrees and humidity. I'm too old for this stuff.
Mostly oak. Save as much oak as I can for the smoker. Let it "season" till next summer.
Now for the part where all y'all would have paid good money for video. Went down once. Dodging a branch using my head as a target.... stumbled back out of the way..... tripped on the sidewalk..... landed on my butt.... banged up an elbow.... pretty sure I have a nice bruise where I sit. I think my wife was ready to call 911. Told her I was fine.... I was more worried about my glasses flying off my head and landing behind me somewhere. Spoiler alert..... they were fine.
Turns out.... I still bounce pretty good for an old guy. Tomorrow morning. Bets are off.

I went with poly 25 years ago when I redid all the 69 Vette parts. Never had any squeaks.
I don’t personally have experience. Never done a job like that…. Although on a 77 Vette, I probably need to. Guess my question would be ride. I’ve been led to believe thru reading about such things that rubber give a slightly better ride. The poly gives more precise handing.
