Well there we are, I'm 64 !!!

Got myself a treat yesterday and a hobby for the years ahead.
There's not to much to do on it . For now it needs Rear wheel bearings and a new electric radiator fan.

When I’m 64? Hell, I will be lucky if I live to see 64. Those little buggy’s are cool. My dad had an orange one when I was a teenager.

I used to be a foreign car mechanic as summer jobs in high school. Worked on all kinds of 60s and early 70s British, German and Japanese cars. Also owned 3 MGs. I speak from experience. :dood:

My father owned a 53 jag XK120, 67 XKE and a 54 MG TF. I too grew up working on cars at a shop specializing in Jaguar and Rolls Royce. I later switched to German and Italian cars.

Years ago at the races at Road America, Elkhart Lake Wi. my car wouldn’t start in the morning. Friend I was with made a bee line to the first British car he saw in the camp grounds and came back with jumper cables. He knew.
