Flip flop back to repair the junk cab.
I did cut the 1 x 12 pine and tried to set it up today. Sanding checking fit. Not happy with the lumber. However, I will use it at another time.
I will end up with 2 combo cabs but I need the DSL functionality now.

I bought a bunch of clamps at Harbor Frieght and a , ratchet strap. That strap did exactly what I needed. First step glue the structural box. Then I will "weld" the cracks. Yes glue. Lol
First step It's drying now as the grass grows.

:H5:

Wood glue on particle board can do magic. :yesway:

Mix it with sawdust to make a paste to fill in any missing chunks.
Sand it flat, and tolex will hide all the ugly.
It's going to be good. I saved a load of pine saw dust.

I completely lifted everything in the room that I disassembled the chassis / combo in and no luck.

I put the smaller screws in a old prescription bottle. The corner pieces some broken ended up on the floor.
No chassis bolts but Amazon seems to like driving so bolts from Bezos today.

Apparently Mojotone with their high dollar shipping can not ship stuff to the coast in a week.I guess their excuse is I chose USPS. Of course I did for the least money. $27

That was a funny reply... :rolf:

But seriously, those repairs look great!
I'm looking forward to seeing the new tolex and grill.
Me too but I really want to play it. I have spent very little time with it so far.

Forgive me if I forgot, but is the amp itself functional?
Looks like it should be playable mounted in the repaired cab.
I've always wanted to try a 40C or CR - I've only had the 1HR & 20HR.
What speaker is in that, BTW?
