Oh man, you have no idea how much I can relate to that...and I'm pretty sure I'm a bit older than you.

Sorry, I'm allergic to photographs, I don't have any pics of myself at any age. Actually I might have a couple from when I was in the military, but if I do they're packed away and I wouldn't know where to even look.

If I have one. It will be a MX pic. That was all I thought about from teenager until music and then in my 20's I got the racing bug. @ 27 I bought a Honda CR 500 and went on the local ameture racing tracks. Hell bent.

I would have done it longer. But…. Bought my Honda 125 Elsinore tail end of summer ‘74. Got to a couple races before season ended. Got out maybe 10 times in 75. However, in just that one year…. Both Yamaha and Suzuki had introduced their “long travel” suspension. Nothing like what’s running today…. But at the time going from 4” travel to 6 or 7” was a monumental step up. I couldn’t afford to upgrade, so retired from racing and just road it for fun.
