You can use a Volkswagen bug to drag race too, but it's not my weapon of choice.

I've played quite a few fenders before, even some custom usa, designed by a fancy dude tele....
Absolutely poop, in my humble opinion. The guy who owns that one is a professional musician and it looks and sounds great for ... Mustang Sally and Johnny B Goode... And the stuff he plays.
Strats feel even worse to me. It's just me. I hate em.

It's all good. So I gather you dislike teles and strats, however you are leaving the proverbial door open just a tad for the whole pink hair deal. Got it!
Someone had to say that. Pink hair and a TooToo would look awesome on stage.
And to think I was going to build me a climate controlled display case to store my Strat in just to show off my pride and joy.

Thing I hate the most about Strat's & Tele's are how close the volume knob or other controls are to the strings & bridge, & then I plug my LP in and forget about them.
Ha ha ha yes!!!
Here's just a few things I hate about strats...
1. Plastic everything everywhere. Could you put any more plastic on the things???
2. Single coils are weak, noisy, crap for pickups
3. Headstock is at a weird angle feels like the whole neck is bowed (literally my most hated thing)
4. Round everything, hard thick plastic paint looks like a blow up inflatable toy instead of a guitar
5. Fake whammy bar that knocks strings out of tune if you take it for a real dive! Why no locking nut?
6. No pulling up on the trem.
7. Pickup in the middle where your pick should be strumming and picking.... Right in the way!
8. Ugly misplaced output jack.
9. Headstock looks like a 3rd grader designed it
10. Sounds like poop when distorted or clean
11. 5 way selector blade is hideous.
12. Knobs all sit too close together.
13. Made all over the place, they all look the same they all look like Chinese junk to me.
14. They are not metal! (I don't care who plays a super strat and you think it sounds metal...it doesn't)
15. Second ugliest guitar in the world.
16. Jazz and country guitar... My 2nd and 3rd most disliked types of music.
17. Lots of people love them.... Which makes me not love them.
18. The Tone just sucks!
Don't get me started on teles.....

Truth is, I can handle owning and playing this guitar (barely) I don't think of it as a strat. I just wanted to amuse myself by posting that I got a strat ha ha ha. The irony of it all and whatnot....
I'm a strat hater....
This guitar doesn't feel anything like a fender so, I may keep it around for giggles and way low tunings and 7 string nonsense.
I just can't pass up a good opportunity to bash on Fender.
Hopefully nobody takes me seriously.

Besides the control, I am not that fond of SC bridge pups, I do how ever love the SD APII Pro singles in the neck of a strat into a DSL50H. I do not mind fat Strats but I have to rid myself of the 3rd control if I ever get another. I also despise the regular old sunbust strat, the sunburst on them to me is
I also had a metallic surf green regular trem deluxe with Duncan's in it & a metallic blue Sambora Strat & then I started getting into Les Pauls & SG's

Well SOME of that is accurate, but you drop the right humbucker into one and boom. Page sounded best on a tele too. I SERIOUSLY doubt you could hear the difference with a Humbucker in one recorded with the amount of insane gain some favor as a crutch, slathered on.
