TTR Game of Toanz

After my pops listening to some of the music I had bought.. about 1971-72 he bought me an my brother a Teisco guitar, and I got a small Alamo tube amp with a very puny speaker.
We also had a Venture’s learn how to play guitar album.. but my dumb ass didn’t know what the string were or how they were numbered.
So I didn’t learn much..
Later I got put into guitar lessons.

It was a class of many.
Imagine my shock when on my first day, I was the only person who brought a guitar and amp !!
Still no one mentioned the string names, they , the instructors would just walk around an tune everyone’s guitar…
That's a terrible teacher!
String names/numbers are the first thing I teach, Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie. Kids love that one, it sticks in their heads

Just didn’t learn to much back then.
I finally learned how to properly tune the guitar when I was just out of HS
I should have taken lessons….. at least for a little while. Learned too many bad habits. Plus. An instructor would hold you accountable.

Never had a problem with the open strings since I had to tell the piano player what notes to play so I could tune. To this day I have to think about note names as I move up the fret board. Of that. I’m not too proud of.

Tromboaner here
There was once a time when I could actually read sheet music. I've lost most of it by now lol
You’d be surprised how fast it comes back. When my eldest was in HS….. also played tbone…. Our school did an alumni band thing. So figured what the heck. Got to play horn next to my kid. It was a blast. Over 20 years since I’d played. Had no problem remembering slide position. Now lip. That was another story.

Lets get back on track... somebody start a "concert/jazz band" thread somewhere else.
This is about Rock and Roll! TURN IT UP!!

I can't wait to present Chapter 2 you guys. You thought the last one was fun?
This one is going to cause damp panties I tells ya!

The Vote is coming down tonight! Looks so far like someone from Group A will be going home, unless someone is holding
out and has not yet voted.

Question was asked in the group B thread what happens if there is a tie for last place and game exit.

Once all is factored in, vote and penalty points etc... IF there is tie for last place, I will first give each party the
opportunity to voluntarily bow out. If nobody does, I will flip a digital coin and report results.
I've been looking for a coin flip that is saveable to place in the thread, but I can't find one,
that would be cool.

Nobody should resign to have their destiny be decided by a coin flip. If you do, because you didn't do anything
to get the vote out for you, that's on YOU. A little work, can get those votes in!!! I've seen it happen!
