The good news is, things are really clean here! I thought y'all would be engaging in your shenanigans here, so I've got everything spotless. The place hasn't been this clean and fresh-smelling in years!
Whoever left the trash can full of dirty socks...that wasn't funny.
But, since y'all will be doing this as an away trip, when you get back, be sure to enter through the door with the red plastic around it. You will have to go through a comprehensive disinfection, quarantine, and antibiotic protocol that was just developed in an overnight, emergency session with the CDC and WHO.
I've also been in contact with grief counsellors and lawyers, for those who may have need of such services when you return!

Welcome to our 18 willing participants, and all those interested and watching. This is going to be a rollercoaster of good times, fear and angst.
I can promise everyone an entertaining ride, but it's mostly up to our TTR Rock Stars and the best judgment of the community. Yes, the TTR community as a whole including non-players also steer the direction, so the more people watching and following, the better the game will get.
I do little more than guide the grand narrative... The competitors write the story. Their own stories... weaving their a career path with words, pictures, sounds. And they better make it damn good, or they will DIE!

You’re not up to none of that college BS, no money, don’t care. Another thing to tie you down? Eff that! Your stupid friends all sold out. Man, they suck. Only one thing rules YOUR life right now, that’s frickin’ music. You want to experience things, go places, blaze your own path. Thing is, you play a little guitar, dig? Friends say you’re pretty ok, actually. Maybe that’s your ticket. Rock ‘n Roll, chicks, late nights, partying your ass off... FREEDOM!!!! Sounds pretty easy, too. Yeah man, that’s something you can get behind. Plus, it’s really gonna piss off mom & pop. Lets start off with something easy, shall we?
Qualification Challenge
Post one photo in this thread of your rapturous Bendy Tone Ecstasy Guitar Face. Your Game of Tones competitors, and all those watching will be able to gauge the pain, the soul, the deep fiery need ingrained in your very being that drives you to claw your way into the music business. No holds barred, any way you can, this is 100% on you. Done proper, this photo of YOU will drive fear into the hearts of your competitors and impress all watching. A photo so expressive, we can actually almost hear the note if we listen real close. Pic due by 11:00PM Central Standard time tomorrow, Friday Feb 24th. COUNTDOWN TIMER If you participate in any way, you cannot be eliminated. However, opting out will absolutely take you out of The Game of Tones. A previously taken photo may be applied, if you feel it adequately brings the feels.
Immunity
This is an Immunity Round. Meaning, there will be a TTR community vote on the best submission via separate poll thread. 24 hours of voting. Top vote-getter earns the coveted right the be first to hold the sacred oil-rubbed Ancient Idol of Toanwood - a magical relic which provides the bearer immunity for the next elimination round. It’s quite special to have, but a serious burden comes with it. You probably want it, though.
THREAD DERAILING. I know it's a thing on TTR. But please, try to keep this thread as clean as possible for the good of the game. You can trash talk, you may post about your competitors, outside folks are absolutely welcome to cheer, jeer and comment. I want you all to have fun and partay on, But PLEASE.. try to keep this on-topic for Game of Tones. For gameplayers, and for particularly me organizing, it becomes way, way harder and super-disjointed if we have to sift through a bunch of NON GAME RELATED stuff for important and relevant game info. Also, there will be separate and frequent Poll/Vote threads which shapes the field of players, also AWESOME places to comment on the contest, the submissions, and cheer on our TTR Game of Tones Rock Stars!
