The new ones yes. The old 40C was the 70/80 generally considered pretty harsh. As far as I know the V type is stock for the DSL40 Combos.

Gotcha, Well, you would likely remember your Tubes you used, no?@chilipeppermaniac - i gave away both DSL40C'S so i no longer have them for reference.
Yup, doesn't make sense to me either, but in the specs, that is what it says. A 50 watt amp and a 30 watt Speaker. WTFYup. Running a 30 watt speaker in a 50 watt amp is bad. I cannot fathom why they have it as the matching cab.
Both of mine still do !!My DSL40C had a 70/80.

The donation was a trade for the dirt bike gear.I used Genelex Gold Lion KT77/EL84
I don't think i ever killed a 70/80. I donated all my old 70/80's to @Mitch Pearrow SJMP
The Creambacks and Greenbacks would actually stop transmitting sound and i saw both cone/voice coil separations, ruptured voice coil bellows and surround failures.
Mitch, I have a plane ticket for Friday booked for you. We can start work on Saturday and keep you busy for a year or 3. Say goodbye to your family NOW. Hurry, I need you.The donation was a trade for the dirt bike gear.
I still need one more to fill a cab.
But I am also not searching one out .because of the lack of steady employment right now.

You are asking him to leave his garage behind….Bdon, I don't know why you are laughing. Mitch is the older half clone of me. He is an expert framer and my first training in carpentry was framing. We have at least 2 garages, pole buildings to build here in Maryland, and then it is on to, enclosed porches, roofing, siding, gutters, windows, demo, plumbing, electric, hvac, bath, kitchen, flooring...
