Apparently I can't post until I introduce myself. This seems like a logical place.

I have some hearing loss from standing in front of guitar amps, but I'm not really deaf. My name isn't Dave. There is only one of me. Other than that, my handle is pretty accurate.

I've been at thermionic valve electronics for a long time.

I took some EE in college, but that wasn't my major and they refused to discuss anything having to do with tubes.

I have more amplifiers than you.

You're not alone with some hearing loss, especially among the older rockers hereabouts.
I'm old enough to remember the days before master volume knobs, back when you had to crank an amp for it to rock.

I don't doubt you have more amps than I do. As mentioned, though, some here have pretty extensive collections.
We'd love to see some pics. (Guitar pics are welcome too, of course...)
