Deepest apologies for my absence: been caught up in a lot of stuff going on. Work stuff mostly with some daily bulls#it. Hope everyone here has been doing good as always! Missed talking to everyone.

Anywho, this came into my hands today I suppose. My dad had traded a guitar for this years ago and today when visiting him, he said " Here, got something for ya" and handed this to me. I really feel uncomfortable taking something like this as I see it as his. But he said he doesn't play them anyways and just collects them, this was in the way he claimed lol. Im beyond grateful and would gladly hand it back over if he changes his mind. But anyways, here it is:

Checking the numbers, it seems to be about a 2002 G&L Legacy Special made in Fullerton, California. Has the 3 dual blade pickups and a Double Fulcrum Tremolo. So this would mark 2 firsts for me: a Strat style and a guitar with a tremolo.

That’s pretty cool. Always neat to be gifted something special from parents. No musical instruments handed down from my parents since I’m the first “musician” in my family. We did get gifted a cast iron skillet that started life with a grandparent. My youngest who plays guitar/bass already knows at some point he will inherit my Ovation acoustic I purchased new in 74.

Guy that was on worship team with me has/had?? a G&L with P90s. The thing was an animal.
