TTR Game of Toanz

I can try and get something posted up. Would probably have to be tomorrow. After that I’m kinda off the radar for the next week…. Other than checking in. Won’t have a guitar at my disposal. Nor will I be disposing of any guitar any time soon.

Nothing needs to be posted yet. Official game has not started.

For now we just need sixteen participants, though any who have signed up already should be beating their chests and snorting quite a lot more than they are. Intimidation side-game is weak right now.

I look at the current list, and it looks like "Guitar Wars" in Afghanistan. All totally potential cannon fodder for a clever player.

@TVvoodoo With a field of only 6 other competitors it’s seems hardly worth my best trash talk.
As I look at the competition I see …

@Iron1 my Ghost Shadows band mate. We hack on each other all day everyday. It would just seem superfluous, and quite frankly abusive to continue hacking on him and his doomy flimsy 7 strings.

@Headache lost his edge when he lost his best weapon … the Legendary Phaser Phone. Now he is like King Arthur without Excalibur.

@Mitch Pearrow SJMP can pose a slight challenge with his old school wicked riffs, but I will dig deep and vanquish him also.

@Jethro Rocker will come at me hard. I’ve seen his skills and heard his style. A worthy opponent indeed. I have studied him and I will strike at his weaknesses, burn him down and walk through the ashes.

@SG John is quick if pick and fleet of fret. Like a snake he will strike fast and hard, but I am a mongoose to his cobra.

And finally @Thatbastarddon Has a very good ear for tone. He has the ability to squeeze everything out of every note. He has shown and taught me some of his tricks. Now I will use his teachings against him. The student now will take on the sensei.

So as you can see Brad. I am ready for this competition.
Without @Ramo here to thrash the competition and dazzle me with his speed.
I have nothing to worry about.

MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

You can say that again. Oh, you did. :ROFLMAO:

This is a real good start @LiveeviL2000 - get's the blood pumpin' a little don't it? Ayyyyy!

But your energies are better spent trashtalking the dozens guaranteed losers now sitting on the fence on joining the battle.
Help me out here! turn them into potential winners, by egging them on to go mano-a-mano in an appropriate field of battle.

If @Ramo joined, I believe his attempts at sloppy speed and faux aggressive posturing would probably result in an early take-down.

BTW: The first Game of Tones challenge doesn't even require you own a guitar, but it might be helpful.
Behold, the carved koa-tonewood prize of the many Game of Tones immunity challenges.

The coveted ancient Idol of Phallus!

Earning this hand-rubbed idol gives one great power, but with that power also comes great responsibility.
You (and your wife) can only enjoy all the benefits this idol provides if you join the Game of Tones.

For the challenges, the rules of engagement will be minimal, but fair. While not all may have easy access to a Fallopian flute, everyone has access to the much more common Flatus Flute, as demonstrated earlier in this thread. I will try to keep the playing field as level as possible.

I will take your suggestion under advisement, but suggest revealing any secret weapons you may possess not ideal strategy before you even sign up for the game. Are you in, or are you out @Far Rider ?

Oh, I still have the phaser phone! don't you worry about my secret weapon, my friend..... And trust me, y'all don't need to see my Excalibur! It would only lead to a loss of your self esteem.

I got the goods to bring tinnitus to the Toan Godz!

You better start practicing your triplets!

Everyone should join in, it's way more fun to play and have a good time than sit and watch. Do it.

In this game, everyone starts out at GROUND ZERO.
You will each build your character and strengths as we go along.
Once again, your ability to play guitar is less important than strategy, battlefield smarts and playing to the crowd.

If you will be away for a week, two weeks whatever, you may easily recruit a willing proxy for you from non-competing members.
Everyone will be jumping at the chance to do that do not worry.

less than 12 hours to get in

After hearing numerous examples of the competition, I will humbly sit this one out. I'm not into self-abuse.

Errrr, that came out wrong.

Don't hold me in too high a regard. Recording at home is very different from a gig for me.
