Going to forsake my own homeland on this one and go with England. They created Heavy Metal technically and then continued it with NWOBHM. Nothing against the Americans because we gave birth to tons of subgenres like Thrash, Power, Groove, Death and then the later NWOAHM and Metalcore bands; but im a sucker for the old wicked poop lol.

Lmao not to rub any salt in these wounds, we also gave birth to Disco, Techno, Teen Pop and Nu Metal aka Limp Bizkit. Id say skip the 2 minutes in the penalty box and just eject us and pull our franchise entirely
