Oddly. I find no fault in the artists doing this. With the modern landscape of how we get our music, they will never earn this much thru royalties going forward. Most of these folk like Neil Young (who sold 1/2) Stevie Nicks and others aren’t pups anymore. None of us old rockers want to admit it, but these guys aren’t going to be with us much longer. Why not get your money up front while you have some years to do something with it.

Concur 100%. And for a band like Motley, who arguably only had one good record (Too Fast For Love) this is one hell of a payday.
