This is a Mexican Cyclone from the Deluxe Series that was out in the early 2000's. This one has some serious upgrades. The mods are in the style of the Fender "Strat Plus". I've been searching hard for a mint Fender in Graffiti Yellow too!

They include:

Bridge - Upgraded to a Wilkinson Trem. Also has a Hipshot Tremsetter.
Tuners - Fender Satin Locking
Nut - LSR roller
Pickups - Lace Sensor Dually Red/Silver Bridge, Blue Neck. 3 way mini toggle for
selecting either or both of Dually coils.

Very cool!! It looks like that neck might have an interesting grain pattern, is that correct?

How are the lace sensors?

Interesting guitar.

I like the yellow colour and the pearl pickguard. These type of offset jaguaresque/mustangesque Fenders are always interesting and often really good; they just seem to me to need to be thrashed with some punk songs and beer poured over them.

Thanks everyone! The guitar plays amazing, the Lace Sensors are really crisp and clear.

Ray, the grain on the board is really nice, but needs a little treatment to darken it up a bit.

The Roller Nut works great and does just what it should...which is make the guitar go right back in tune after using the whammy bar!

...and yes you can buy and install on any Strat or Tele as far as I can tell...I bought one for my Strat, so I'll let you know how it goes...

This is a Keeper for sure! I love all the special nuances about it...the roller nut, the 24.75 scale, the Lace Pup's...plus my wife said "that is a very nice guitar"! First time ever!
If the wife likes it, it's a keeper for sure!
