This is nit picking I understand, but I lost 20 toward my ambassadorship. Glad the site is back though.

poop happens. It's no big deal. I'm just glad you got it up and running. The community is the important thing.
 
Sorry if I let y'all down by losing a weeks worth of posts :-(
At least we did not lose years worth of posts. I gotta tell ya, I was sweating bullets (not silver bullets) trying to get this site back up. In honesty there was a point that I thought we might not even get it back. I've now learned much about this hosting company that broke our site and it is owned by the same people that owned the last host that we left!!! ARGH!!!

We are still on the bad hosting site as I really needed to get this site back up and running before it was moved to a new server. I spent over 100 hours working on this, communicating with the bad web host, communicating with programming experts that helped to restore this site. This was a very bad time for me to have this happen. My car was running poorly and had to end up going into the shop. Just as soon as I got my car out of the shop, Mrs Wav's car had to go in the shop. Each repair bill was over $1,000. Now with my credit card maxed out, we needed to hire a new hosting company. Ray stepped up to the plate, opened his wallet and purchased new space for us. Now I'm gonna take a breather and spend some time with my wife and family. I spent last Saturday, all day working on this site. Tomorrow, Saturday I won't be anywhere near a computer, I will be with my wife at our son's house babysitting our grandson.

I miss my bedtime stories thread :) :) Not to worry, lets get everything sorted and then Ill have more stories to add :)
 
FWIW, we can't leave @eSGEe out of the thank you fest. From what I understand both Adrian and Ray were busy emailing, texting, phoning, messaging, even sending carrier pigeons and smoke signals to keep y'all updated as to the site condition and ETA. As I have said before, this house of tone takes a family to run. It is not a 1 man operation although I did make some judgement calls without checking with my partners first. I was in reactive mode and may have taken some liberties above my paygrade in the pursuit of getting this site back. My partners put me back in check, issues have been resolved and I wish to give a big thank you to @eSGEe and @RVA for fielding all your concerns while the site was down.
