Was a late KISS bloomer. Liked many of their songs, just didn’t get serious about them till sometime in the past 10 years or so. And Ace would be my favorite as well.

Awesome tune... I was a huge Yardbird fan when I was younger - still am I guess. I can remember going to the Jamesway, a local like walmart like store, and dig'n thru a wooden barrel full of cassettes to find all the cassettes in the yard birds complete series type thing and then put them on 'layaway' - I wore those cassettes out once I got them out of layaway - lol...

I always try to expand horizons and be more open minded to styles that i normally dont listen to these days ( guess its part of growing older). This is a band who have been around since about 1990 and i glossed over them for years until hearing this not that long ago. They pioneered the term, Gothic Metal from this track alone and with an orchestra, it gave it a whole new layer of epic.

mhmm, i just read that their lead guitar player George Kooymans now suffers from ALS. Terrible fate, i simply have no idea how to issue best wishes for te remaining future.
