Since when did PV start making necks out of birdseye and tiger stripe tops?
Is PV becoming boutique now?
Have they adopted a new image and reinvented PV?

It's got a real Floyd Rose made in Germany the Schaller tuners made in Germany also.
Plugged in real nice but the neck is the high point on this guitar somewhere between a C and a D neck real close to my 1960 Fender D neck
with jumbo frets feels like an old friend the Wolfgang neck felt strange.

Very cool guitar. Its literally the evolution of the Wolfgang after EVH left and formed his own company ( much like how Musicman EVH became the Axis). Honestly though, these have a little bit better specs than the Wolfgangs had, especially in the finishes

I'm very thankful had a choice of 8 NOS Peavey HP2 went for the light weight one out of the bunch 7 pounds 12 ounces
Set the action up last night it was to low and the Floyd Rose can pull it up a full step then played it lost track of time five hours later.
My first impression is a custom shop level of craftsmanship at a standard guitar price.

Well the new Peavey passed band practice test yesterday but the over wound pickups sound to dark to me
the only way it cuts through the mix is with the KTR Klon engaged and the bright switch on my amps
the neck is far superior compared to the EVH Wolfgang roasted maple and it stays in tune the German made Floyd Rose is a good one
will I use the Peavey for our next show on the 4th of July no.

Is the Floyd Rose made by Schaller? I saw somewhere that some of these have the Gotoh GE1996T but maybe they have been fitted later?
On the Bare Knuckle forum someone who had these guitars recommended their VHII set, the guy also complained about dark stock pickups. They sound pretty bright in this Wolfgang
