What are you GAS-ing for?

I would do that in a heartbeat. I've already done it actually, more times that I can really count.

Can't fit it all into one pic so here's a short clip:

Just dont touch any buttons or knobs or we may lose cabin pressure.
I run all that through the 1984 JC120 under the table. It's basically in power amp mode with the two 15" Community PA monitors hooked to the back of it.
DUDE-- love that BRITISH RACING GREEN VOX AC 4 !!! -- what a looker ---- Ive been trying to find an AC4 HEAD forever ......

I've been on an 80s movie kick recently. But I've thrown a feww 70s films in there for good measure. Watched the original Night of the Living Dead again and its better, and worse, than I remembered it. I guess I get a little critical of irrational decision making even when it's part of the script. But I think that just means I'm well on my way to being an excellent curmudgeon in my advanced years.
Is that the one where the zombie gets stabbed in the head with a screwdriver, then says,"Get this gd screwdriver outta my head!" :pound-hand:

No, thank you. It can go over in the corner with the polar bear. ;) Since you're laid up, why not make yourself useful and be kind. Imagine how happy I'll be with that beautiful guitar in my hands. Heltershelton gave someone a guitar and is adored. Now, don't you want to grow up to be just like him? :pound-hand:

Nah, I already have a white guitar with gold hardware.

That makes me sad. What is the issue with the Tribute? Sometimes a good mod can be like a new guitar

Just doesn't play well, doesn't sustain well, pickups that sound awesome in other guitars don't sound good in it. I have swapped more pickups in and out of that guitar than I can remember and never did find any I really liked in it. These are the same pickups that sound great in my other guitars.

I liked it when I first bought it, but at the time it was the most I'd ever payed for a guitar and no doubt the best I'd ever owned, but since then I've built several Warmoth guitars that all play and sound so much better. I have also checked out a couple of more expensive LPs over the years and they were better. I think I just got a dud, but didn't know it at the time.

been there Steve ---
see previous comments from me and @Robert Herndon about a shared SG
with an 60's SG Tribute I bought NEW years ago in ALabama (came in with a bad neck pickup-- long story)

As for the tribute series.....round 2.....................I waited patiently for the 60s honeyburst tribute lester to come out

I mean look its foogin gorgeous!

weeks I waited...................................I WANTED one of these lovely beasts and I was prepaired with CC in hand to BUY ONE--- went to GC the minute they had one and played it ................................................needless to say I left without it -- MAJORLY disappointed and very unhappy with GIBSON CORP> in general. :poo: fret work-- HORRIBLE action dead feeling no vibe-- dry freboard and it was "new" at Guitar Center and was allready MISSING THE SWITCH TIP ....really WTF?

so sad.....so very sad---dont take it personal DirtySteve..... Gibbo puts out some stinkers.... my advice -- FLIP IT AND MOVE ON you will NOT get it to play/feel right ...... some are just DEAD WOOD

Only problem with flipping it is I kind of ruined any resale value when I took the sander to it and tru-oiled it, lol.

I don't believe in duds, only guitars that need fixing. However, if you don't bond with the guitar, that is not something that can be fixed.
