Mimico... by the beautiful Lakeshore in Etobicoke. Too many condos now, though. And like a random old-timey guy said outside a new Queen West taco place: "don't go in there, it's crawling with hipsters!". But love it nonetheless! Whereabouts are you, Ninja?Welcome Six String Chef!
We northerners have to stick together! Where do you live in T.O.?
Yup, we're on the same page for sure, Jethro. And love Triumph, another (very underrated) Canadian power trio! Happened to catch Rik Emmett a few years back, playing a rare sunday night gig at the park in front of Humber College on lake shore and kipling. Some neighborhood summer festival organised by the local city councillor (Mark Grimes, I believe). Shouldn't have been more than maybe a hundred people scattered around all on lawn chairs. Pure fricking heaven!Sounds good! Who knows?
Sounds like you play or like a similar style to me. I also love 70s classic and hard rock Canadian style. Harlequin, April Wine, Prism, Helix, etc etc. And of course, Triumph.
He looks ferocious! His teeth are so white though! What does he use?
Known and loved them since my (somewhat distant now) teens, back in my original hometown in NE Mexico. Used to drive with friends a couple of hours north to go to McAllen or Laredo, TX to buy records as soon as they came out. Rush was always top of list.I was not much of a Rush fan in my youth but really gained an appreciation when in my late 30’s. I guess I finally started to realize just how good they really were.
as my daughter would say: "YAAAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!!!". Awesome, awesome, awesome...Weapons of mass destruction!
Very nice!
Come on Ramo... let yourself go... embrace The Twang... Be the twang!dear lord..... I can feel the twang from all the way there.![]()

Hey, Sysco. Thank you kindly for the welcome! My day gig is researching and developing customized dishes and recipes (mainly mexican and other ethnic) for foodservice / retail customers (e.g.: the deli section of that big wholesale warehouse chain based out of Seattle, supermarkets, restaurants, etc...) and then making sure it can be translated to the realities of a food manufacturing plant. And I loooove it! Of course, my family gets to be the early tasting panel! BTW, you wouldn't happen to be related in any way to Sysco foodservice distribution, would you?Welcome to TTR...
