Chuggerz club only!

These guys are thought to have been responsible for someone coining the term Heavy Metal music.

Sir Lord Baltimore was an American heavy metal band from Brooklyn, New York, United States, formed in 1968 by lead vocalist and drummer John Garner, guitarist Louis Dambra, and bassist Gary Justin. Some have cited the 1971 review of their debut record, Kingdom Come, in Creem magazine as containing the first documented use of the term "heavy metal" to refer to a style of music. Sir Lord Baltimore featured a drumming lead singer, traditionally a rarity in rock and metal music. The band is also the first band to be categorized as heavy metal.[4][better source needed] The group has been called "the godfathers of stoner rock."[3]

From their 1970 -71 ish album

I love Sir Lord Baltimore. I have their first two records. Another great band from that time was Dust. It had Kenny Arronof and Mark Bell(Marky Ramone) in it. Phenomenal three piece prog metal band.

Actually, that quote came from a review of Electric Ladyland, where the writer said that Hendrix sounded like "heavy metal falling from the sky."

Another band that gets accused of creating "Heavy Metal" are these rascals from San Francisco.

@chilipeppermaniac check out Buffalo. They're from Sydney, Australia, and put out some amazing stuff in the early seventies. A couple of the members went on to form Rose Tattoo. I think you'll really like them.

Sorry to hijack Ramo, but it does chug.

I actually differentiate between fast and chug.

They're two different things, IMO, as closely related as they can be.

My entry will consist of two chug songs, and also will double as a nomination for LRT to be inducted into the CHUGGZ club, as he is also in these songs chugging along next to me. They're recorded with a cellphone so it sounds like poop.

This one's called Anger Management

This one's called Two Beers Alone

I hope there's enough CHUG to let us in this highly exclusive club. There's no teles anywhere in sight.
