How do I turn this into a song?

I know it's kind of a stupid question and that there are a million songs I could listen to and copy the structure of, but I just feel kind of stumped. It's not that this one is particularly difficult to do anything with, it's just that this is as far as I ever come, usually because I want to over complicate thigs I think. Or I don't know where to start. There's a chord progression here, nothing specail but I'll use it. There's a verse, a bridge and a chorus. I should probably come up with an intro, a riff, vary the drums and my playing over the different sections, it needs a melody etc. etc. It seems kind of overwhelming. Where would you start?

I would start with the melody first. If you have a melody that stands on it's own, you can build the song around it and it will be strong

As far as an intro, I like the quick drum pickup that goes right into it

You already have a good riff that follows a progression....makes a good bed for the melody to lay on
 
Even though it's simple, it sounds like you could easily make a track that is just phrasing La - Di - Di - Da...... Using whatever scale works best for temporary nonsense.

Sing gibberish along with it to create a melody. Then you can create a lead guitar line and some real words that fit into the context of the melody you created over it.

I need lyrics to come up with a melody. Everyone works differently writing songs. I usually have a riff or a chord progression first Then I do lyrics, Singing the lyrics creates the melody for me. Sometimes I’l do lyrics, then sing them, then base the chords on the melody. If I don’t have lyrics I end up just playing scales. I find melodies by themselves very hard.
 
Not sure AT I seem to come up with multiple parts that I just try to shoe horn into something, then play it enough times to blend it , but I am nobody to be trying to hand out advice.
What I can do is listen to it some more and play along with it, and see if something else comes out and can fluidly work with it.

I listened to your clip about 20 + times and I came out with a few parts with my interpretation of your piece, hope that this can give you some ideas buddy
