1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 50 miles on the motor build, body not bad no rust, minor rocker repair to do, under is clean minimal rust if any, all original floor pans , no rust at seams,
Tracks very strait when you let go of the wheel & has that typical 4.0 torque. Soon as got it drove right of the road & into a field & sprayed the whole thing with dirt..lol tomorrow is the first day back on the road working since the Accident.jeep day 1.jpgJeep gas fill.jpg

All tools loaded in !! New Ad up for lockouts close to me at very reasonable price & under 15 minute service. Was searching all week & hit this guy right when he got a new Wrangler & wants to lift it, fresh PA inspection with the major things these jeep's need addressed. Won't have to do much mechanically it's that sound,

Working on few things, get new tires, ordered remote, duped a few keys already. needs major clean. The underneath is excellent, only have to do minor prep before the rust proofing. Old school i guess..like the rougher -hands on ride.
 
Nice Cherokee! We’ are buying a 97 from friends of ours next month. They ordered one of those new eMustangs and get it next month. We are going to use it mainly for off roading (aka a beater) on all the trails around us here in the mountains.

Was driving the Mazda CX9 today..said..no more...great SUV but the Jeep has the Mojo

Going to ad a Wench also lol & prob go bigger tires, drive too much highway for calls or would lift it immediately.

Thanks, so right..today was getting waved at by other Jeepers & now check out every Jeep & see, what mods are on em..wonder if this is like guitar gear,,,if 1 is good 2 or 10 might be even better..lol
 
Mod of the Day.. dupe 2 keys.. only came with 1

Locksmith tip of the day.. if you buy used car..,make them get you the 2nd key..many times a car can be bad & when a 2nd key gets made,,we go into ECU & fault codes get thrown out & also keys can be quite expensive...the good car dealers we service..always & mean always provide 2 !!

tip 2..take your bladed key & go to Lowe's -Home Depot..tell then you want a metal copy..they will argue & fight & say you need a chip ..blah blah,,the reason you do this is for $2 ..stash that metal blade that will open the door somewhere else,,,

Digging in its a 1999, which is good news cause the motors are the best..2000 they went to coil packs & heads had small issues

Chili will dig this..the paint code is PEA... actual name is Chlli Pepper Red. Will be able to revive the paint , the hood has a dent & the flares are peeled..prob just black em out. No company letters this time, ordered magnets & Amber light for top. Investigating a spotlight ad. Can pull up at night & light it up..much easier & safer
