TV Yellow or... Well, red?

The Epiphone Les Paul Special 2020 with Case from Thomann 4700 SEK including shipping :)
Fantastic Guitar (y)

Cheers
That's a great price!

The big deal here was not the color. This particular guitar comes in these two colors. If I want one... Well, I do. If I get one, I'd have to make a choice.

I'd also have to choose between humbuckers and P90's...

Firstly, this is a missed opportunity for a poll! Everyone loves polls... :p

To answer. Both.

Red always works. If you don't have a red (cherry) SG then you've gotta go with a Cherry then a Black (with batwing pickguard) then Pelham Blue then build up through the colour range. Vintage Cherry is very nice. Aged Cherry is very nice. The Heritage Cherry is my least favourite of the cherry SG finishes, but still very nice.

If, you're going for a LP junior then you need a sunburst. If you're going for a LP special then you need the TV Yellow. Although, on a LP junior/special the Translucent White (can't remember what Gibson call it) is also very nice indeedy.

Here's a Junior in Vintage Cherry:

Here's a Special in Aged Cherry:

(The Aged Cherry looks great in hand, but damn difficult to photograph due to the extra glossy gloss...)

Red or yellow?...
Close your eyes; which do you see?
Either one is the right one, the sooner the better!!

And since TCE63 posted that junior......
I have not been able to get P90's to sing like I hear on some recordings.
No clue why. Leaves me a bit disappointed.
But I love that Epi!!
I saw Charlie Huhn - Foghat playing the Gibson version of that a few years back and really dig it.
Not my pic.

Just role down the Volume on the guitar a little and let the amp do the rest (y)
