Chu Chu, Ramo, I just dialed in my amp for initial distortion settings.

Steve63, If you saw my working amps, you would understand why it must be dialed.
Amp 1------ which I mostly practice through and just set gain, limiter, presence and volume on. Gain up in to maybe 8, Limiter to maybe 2, Mid boost on or off to suit, Volume to maybe 1-2 tops. Guitar pots full on.
Amp 2, I will dial in later. Fairly similar controls, BUT this amp is 100 Watts of LOUD,

chilli that amp wont cut it for metal brother i reckon.... you need either distortion pedal or high gain amp. marshall mg dose ok job and its not very expensive
